Red Zebra Jasper Mortar and Pestle Set

Carved from a variety of jasper called red zebra, this beautiful mortar and pestle set displays the beautiful, swirling patterns of red and white natural to the stone. The result is a beautiful stone mortar and pestle, containing tones that are almost violet in coloring, where veins of red and white blend into each other in only the way that natural stone formations can. A sturdy, heavy weight piece, the mortar stands 3 3/4" tall and 4" in diameter with a 2" deep basin. The pestle measures 5 1/2" long and fits comfortably into the hand, with a wider end that helps you use its heavy weight to grind and crush favorite herbs within.
