This fantastic athame captures the design of the ceremonial knife of modern Scottish Highland dress. Along with the kilt, it is worn tucked into hose so that only the pommel is visible, most commonly upon the right leg. Here we find it with a black sheath, marked with decorative silver casements. The athame`s handle is heavy black molded plastic, making it light, with a weave design and an insignia on the grip. The single edge blade is made of stainless steel and is approximately 3 1/4" long, which makes the overall length of the knife 6 3/4" when you account for the handle.
